Office 365 DNS wildcard / domain entry

After changing my name servers to Office 365, I figured out that the http://fiechter.eu or https://fiechter.eu stopped working.

The solution is very simple, adding an A record with an @ as hostname. This will ensure that all lookups on the domain name will be resolved.

Unfortunately this doesn’t cover subdomain, e.g. *.fiechter.eu. Microsoft doesn’t have a solution for this. In this case you need to use another name server.
